Absolutely amazing. I have been here a few times now and each time has in every way matched the fantastic quality in both food and of the first time I visited. The owner pretty much runs the place in his own (with exception to the chef) and yet still manages to be concise and tend to every request.
The restaurant is very small but the size is almost unnoticeable due to the homely atmosphere.
The happy hour (5-7 I think) is only £10.90 for THREE COURSES. And even though this does not include the whole menu, there is still a great selection. -

Have dined at Donatello on numerous occasions from business dinners to family celebrations and both the food and the service have always been excellent. Possibly Stockport/Manchester's best kept secret. The specials and the seafood have always been very enjoyable and there is normally a very good selection of wines available. The house red Montepulciano is very drinkable!
I'm a sucker for the ribs as a starter followed by the lovely sea bass in garlic, lemon and white wine.
